📃Storia/story: Vida è stata recuperata per la strada nell’agosto 2020, in un quartiere di Siviglia noto per i maltrattamenti e i combattimenti clandestini tra cani… l’abbiamo trovata in condizioni terribili, era divorata dai parassiti, gravemente denutrita, non si reggeva in piedi e le sarebbe rimasto molto poco da vivere in mezzo alla strada. Per fortuna alcuni ragazzi che lavoravano in un cantiere vicino l’hanno notata, le hanno dato subito un po’ d’acqua, hanno chiesto aiuto e si sono fermati per aspettare il nostro arrivo. Le hanno salvato la vita! Una volta in rifugio, Vida (e non abbiamo scelto a caso il suo nome) ha usato le poche forze che le restavano per scodinzolare, e ringraziarci con quei suoi occhi d’oro della pappa buona e delle coccole che riceveva, forse per la prima volta in vita sua… Si è addormentata poco dopo esausta in una cuccia morbida, e ha dormito come se non dormisse da settimane 💕
Vida was rescued on the street on August 2020, in a neighborhood of Seville known for mistreatment and illegal dog fighting… we found her in terrible conditions, devoured by parasites, severely undernourished, she couldn’t stand on her legs, her life was running out of time and had very little chance to live. Fortunately, some guys who worked on a nearby construction site noticed her, immediately gave her some water, asked for help and stopped to wait for us to arrive. They saved her life! Once in the shelter, Vida (a name we choose not casually) used her very little strength left to wag her tail and thank us with her beautiful eyes for the good food and pampering she was receiving, maybe for the first time in her life. She fell asleep shortly after exhausted in her soft bed, and slept as if she hadn’t slept in weeks 💕
⛑Salute/health: positiva a erlikia e anaplasma, anemica, è in cura e sta recuperando molto bene / she tested positive to ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis,she’s being treated and she’s doing better every day
